Fans support "Xingming Special Attack": If you scold again, the developer's job will be lost
As the reputation of "Star Strike" continues to decline, the Steam player comment area has become a battlefield of public opinion.
On one side were gamers who railed about the game's character design and gameplay flaws. They felt that Sony's "eight years of sharpening a sword" results were disappointing. On the other side, a small number of gamers complained about the game, believing that negative reviews from players would endanger the livelihood of developers.
One player wrote: "I know a lot of people make fun of this game, but this kind of behavior could lead to a lot of unemployment. This game involves hundreds of people's livelihoods. Before gloating, please think about the situation of those people."
Another player said: "When you laugh and celebrate, do you realise that this means more than 100 people will lose their jobs? All these developers will lose their jobs and it's all your fault."
However, many players scoff at these "sages", pointing out that it is normal for game developers to be fired for making poor quality games. If their games are truly good, players will naturally be willing to pay for them.
Some players even believe that the dismissal of these developers is good for the game industry. "They made bad games and deserve to be fired. That way other capable developers have a chance to showcase their work."
